Bristol Volksfest is on of those shows we love to go to. Great vibes, great rides, lovely people and it means we can throw in all our gear and the families and roll down the road a few miles to Bristol.
According to the weather, by all accounts we were supposed to be in for a weekend of end-of-the-world style rain with hail the size of cricket balls.
Anyhow we rolled up on to the club pitch friday night, weather still lovely, warm and bright. Pitched up, beers open … job done.
Saturday morning, come 10am we were all huddled under the shop gazebo sheltering from one of the mini-pours … but that was it. From then on in we had great weather and it was really awesome to catch up with people old and new at our stall.
In addition to our wares we had a Rothfink Industries lineup of awesomeness that included: Craig’s Razor, Ross’s rusty tiki bug, Paul’s oval, Seth’s Splitty, Kyle’s light blue ’55’ bug and of course the Rothfink Rustbus.
It was a great show … some awesome acts including the lowriders, graffiti and some great vehicles on display. Big shouts to Adrian and team for putting on another excellent event! Sad to say that this was Adrian’s last event …
