InProfile: Hides - '1964 Slammed Beetle' Japan

In Japan, we see some radical VWs.

Now I want to show you my buddy, HIDE’s ’64 slammed Bug from Yokohama, Japan.

His slammed Bug has a 4inch narrowed front beam and 8J deep steel rims with negative camper drivetrain.

She doesn’t have any air ride system, so she always runs in this slammed stance.

HIDE has only one car for his family, and he always uses this bug for commuting, buying some household goods, and enjoying leisure time … and sometimes his bug gets some sparks under the chassis.

HIDE is a mechanic and he’s always looking after his ride.

I hope he keeps this lo-ride stance and keeps cruisin’ with his bug all the way.

日本にもイカシタVWsがたくさん走っておりまして。。。

今回紹介するのは私の友人”HIDE”が乗る’64y Slammed VWです。

彼のVWは4インチナロードビームと8Jのワイド鉄チンを合わせたオリジナリティ溢れるStyleです

エアサスとかは付いてないんで、しょっちゅう下回りから火花散らしながらStreetを走り回ってます。

HIDE家はこのクルマ1台しか持っていないんで、彼の通勤や普段の買い出し、遊び行くのも全てコレ1台なんです。

彼はメカニックの仕事をしているんで、普段のメンテなんかも自分でこなしてます。

これからもこのままのイカシタ感じで彼とCruiseして行きたいな、と思います。
